Big Day

Howdy,

I had a big day.

First of all, my band mates and I were featured in the Oklahoma Gazette, and they even put a goofy picture of me on the cover. Big thanks to Joshua Boydston and the folks at the Gazette for the recognition and the kind words. If you'd like to read the story, click on this picture of me shredding on a little one-stringed gourd instrument:

In other news, we are going to be opening for Jonathan Tyler and the Northern Lights at Cain's Ballroom on February 9th. Back in high school, Michael and I used to say to each other, "Man, one of these days we're gonna go all the way to Tulsa and play at Cain's, yeah, cool…" and then we'd blast through a blistering 20-minute version of "Voodoo Chile (Slight Return)" and high five each other. So, while we won't be playing any Hendrix (maybe) we will be bringing one of our childhood dreams to fruition. Yeehaw.

Love,

Parker

Parker...your songs are like good books. They leave me happily wanting more. The stories you tell fit our experiences, the novelty delights! Thank you Parker.
